Welcome to the Family
Crow Moon Healing has been a sanctuary for many, even before it became a bed and breakfast. In the woods surrounded by farmland, visitors find themselves transported to a quieter time.
Meet the farm crew! William the potbelly pig, Molly the goat, Greg the cat, Alfred the cow, and Marriane the chicken enjoy interacting with guests.
Karen McIntosh, the founder and host, is known for her ability to nurture through food and care for those around her. Crow Moon Healing is a perfect location for small groups wanting a quiet space to connect.

In Karen's Own Words

"Crow Moon Healing was created with the intention to serve those looking to disconnect from busy lives, returning to nature with a focus on self care.
My life journey brought me to an appreciation of spiritual healing while working through a difficult family situation. After seeing the impact, I was drawn to the healing modality in shamanism. .
In 2016 we took the leap of faith to transform our home into Crow Moon Healing - hosting workshop events for Debra Morrill, a shamanic practitioner and teacher as well as providing peaceful bed & breakfast accommodations.
I am honored to serve and it is with great love that I welcome you to see how Crow Moon Healing can help you in your own healing journey."

Testimonials

"Karen and her husband have a lovely home. We arrived to a warm greeting. We were then treated to an evening tea in their so very comfortable family room. We had a very enjoyable conversation before retiring to bed. We stayed in the bunk room, 3 twin beds. The mattresses were extremely comfortable. The bunk bed is solid, no squeaks or noises.
The morning began with the smells of Karen's home cooking - more to come on the feast she provided. FYI - if you have a quick exit in the morning, she will provide you homemade items to take with you and it includes coffee in to-go cups.
I started my morning by going outside with Karen to greet and hand feed William (jolly loving pig) and Marie (friendly chicken). I am unable to find the words to describe just how amazing that experience was to me, as a farm raised gal that now has a home in a big city.
Back to the breakfast feast.....WOW it exceeded the quality of any restaurant that claims to offer homemade farm-to-table food. It was fresh ingredients that were abundant in flavor. We each had an egg soufflé in a personal crock, hashbrowns that were perfectly crispy, and warm apple crisp with a dollop of greek yogurt (made from just picked apples).
The location of Crow Moon is in the country. No traffic noises, pure darkness with no skyglow. You have the chance to experience rural Wisconsin while being only 30 minutes from downtown Madison. If you have the opportunity to stay at Crow Moon Healing....take it! You won't be disappointed." - Kari G

"We love staying at Crow Moon Healing. The country setting and beautiful view help us to relax into nature. Karen is a friendly and welcoming hostess, and we look forward to her homemade breakfasts. Crow Moon Healing is close to the city and hiking trails, but feels like you are in the middle of the country. I would highly recommend Crow Moon Healing."

"The combination of healing services, and B&B has worked very well for me. After a healing session it is normal to be really tired. Being able to stay on site and take a salt bath, eat healthy food, and sleep after a healing session is so ideal and beneficial."
