“I Matter”

This past weekend, the first shamanic medicine wheel at Crow Moon Healing came to a close.  This two and a half year course, led by Debra Morrill, shamanic healer and practitioner, provides a container of love and light to do the deep inner work of the soul.

We all are going through cycles in our life whether it’s with work, home, family or aging.  These cycles or wheels are a natural part of life.  We get to choose how we experience these cycles. I use to approach all changes in life with trepidation, and fear, using control and manipulation to create a sense of stability. I would resist the “Isness” of situations and in return would ache emotionally and physically, causing suffering for myself.

The medicine wheel is a healing circle.  By being a participant in the wheel you are creating an intention for yourself that is healing.  For me, it was “I Matter”.  For two and a half years I worked with spirit to heal the parts of myself that blocked me from seeing that “I Matter”.  I discovered shadow pieces, beliefs and agreements that I acknowledged, embraced and let go of, which had in the past, prevented me from putting myself first in my life.

There is magic when a group of people commit to an intention of healing for themselves and others.  You reap the benefit of your healing intention along with the ripple effect of other’s healing intentions.  The shifts and changes can be profound, it only requires you to be open and show up for yourself.

I am so grateful for the healing that I’ve experienced in the medicine wheel.  And I am honored to be hosting, Debra Morrill at Crow Moon Healing with classes that heal the soul. The next Medicine Wheel begins January 2021.

If you are interested in participating in a shamanic medicine wheel at Crow Moon Healing with Debra Morrill, note that there are pre-requisite classes.  One of the classes is “Connecting with Divine Spirit through Shamanism” a weekend of shamanism basics, which is being held at Crow Moon Healing August 17-18 2019.

Blessings,
Karen

"Connecting with Divine Spirit through Shamanism"
A two-day basic shamanism workshop led by Debra Morrill
August 17 - 18, 2019
Saturday, August 17 from 9am-9pm
Sunday, August 18 from 9am-4pm
From the beginning of time, indigenous cultures on every continent shared a shamanic spiritual view.  Our forebears lived close to the earth, deeply in tune with her cycles and seasons, the elements and nature.  In this connection, they found their spirituality.  They believed that every living being had a spirit- not just people, but also animals, trees, stones, and plants.  They commonly traveled into the spirit realm to communicate and interact with power animals, spirit guides and nature spirits.  Through exploring the basics of shamanism, we can rekindle our connection to the divine and develop our ability to communicate directly with Spirit to receive guidance on our spiritual path.

In this two-day experiential workshop, you will:
  • gain comfort with accessing divine wisdom through the shamanic journey and explore the shamanic realms by journeying to the Lower and Upper Worlds
  • Meet a power animal and a spirit teacher to serve as guides in the spirit world
  • practice a method of divination with natural objecs
  • participate in a ceremony to release and transform energy experiment with shamanic sounds of drumming and rattling

Debra Morrill, B.A., has a shamanic healing practice in Prairie du Sac, Wi.  She specializes in compassionate repossession, ancestral healing and curse unraveling.  She leads a six-month ancestral healing circle and a two-year shamanic training program.  Visit her website at debramorrill.com for more information about shamanism, spirituality and personal healing.
